FEAR NOT!

“Fear not!” is the most repeated command in the Bible. In fact, it's been said that there are 365 “Fear nots” in the Bible In Matthew 24, Jesus was teaching his disciples and when his disciples asked him when the difficulties will happen and its significance to his second coming, He told them " ...“Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic . Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.  Nation will go to war against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come" . Mattew 24:4-8 (NLT) And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic . Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.- Matthew 4:6 (NLT) In verse 6, Jesus did not promise a ...

Accountability 1

Accountability or answerability can be simply defined to as having responsibility to someone for some activity done. Throughout life, we are faced with stages of accountability. Even in school, it is required that a student accounts for what he/she has learnt over a period before he/she can be promoted to the next stage. The same principle works in workplaces. Bosses require accountability from employees, the board of directors, from managers, parents, from children, governments, from citizens and citizens from the governments. So accountability is always required whenever there is a responsibility . Responsibility therefore, is the state of having a duty to perform certain actions and hence, you are held answerable for that duty to whoever entrusts the responsibility to you. We can conclude that the summary of our life is to be accountable one way or the other to the tasks given to us by the one who made us. It is so surprising to then live as though we have no responsibili...

Why Are You Still Alive If Heaven Is A Nice Place?

One mistake to make is to see the Bible as a religious book ... and we have all made that mistake at a point. One of the questions usually asked religious people is "if Heaven is a beautiful place, why not just die and go to heaven?". I have been asked this question before and this has made me research about the purpose for humanity Let me tell you why we're still on earth.  This question as it sounds has nothing to do with the destination or the end of man but this is the question of purpose. Over 7.2 billion of us on this planet called earth is struggling to answer this same question - the question of purpose. This is also a question of the truth about the world and the truth about how it came into being. The truth of a thing or a person can be defined as the quality of being in accordance with the standard set by the "originator" . Therefore; the truth about a mobile phone is defined in the purpose of its creation. The same way the truth about tv...

PRAYER OF SALVATION

PRAY THIS PRAYER OF SALVATION NOW!! "Lord Jesus, I come to you as a sinner lost and condemned to hell. I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness. I believe with all my heart that you died on the cross and rose up again for my sins. I open my heart to you and receive you as my Lord and personal saviour. Please take control of my life and make me what you want me to be. From today, I am yours and you are mine. Thank you, Father, for this wonderful gift of salvation, AMEN"

Is The Kingdom of God An Actual Place?

One of the most searched topics is the subject of the reality of a kingdom called the "Kingdom of God" or the "Kingdom of Heaven". To understand the whole concept of the Bible and the message of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Bible, we will have to understand the underlying concept of what a Kingdom is.  Kingdom: a kingdom is simply a country, state, or territory ruled or dominated by a king or queen.   Different kingdoms have had dominion over the planet earth since its creation. Today, the subject of the Kingdom of God seem vague because only a few parts of the world practice kingdom rulership and kingdom dominance. Because of the introduction of systems of government like democracy, many including Christians do not understand the concept of kingdom rulership and dominance. Throughout the Bible, the Kingdom has been refered to so majy times; that was also the main message of Jesus Christ. "The word Kingdom (in Greek: βασιλεία Basileia ) ...

The Power of The Wrong Medium

A medium is an agency or means of doing something or a means of communicating through to another person who you usually cannot see or have no means of getting through to directly. In some terms. Whoever conducts the act is called a mediator, an advocate, middleman or a "betweener". God considers mediation as a dangerous power  and is very sensitive about media . We are warned throughout the scriptures about the usage of the wrong media and the abuse of that power. Men throughout history have always sought for media through which communications can be made or to know what will happen in the future. Won't it be nice to know what will happen tomorrow?  God is against the use of unauthorised media because He made us and he decides what is best for us. God wants direct contact with His creation and therefore appointed right media through which we can get through to Him. No wonder Jesus said he is the way - He had to say that because he knew there were other ways w...

Why Jesus Had to Die

People die every day, funeral ceremonies are held all over the world each week. It is said that over 150,000 people die every day across the globe. Some of you have experienced the pain of death by the death of a loved one. So what makes the death of Jesus Christ of over 2,000 years ago significant even until today?  Today we want to understand the reason why Jesus had to die. We can't talk about the death without talking about the reason why He had to come. Why do we die? Let's pay a visit to the book of Genesis for a minute. Genesis chapter two talks about how God instructed Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil - Genesis 2:16  And the   Lord   God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die .   Adam and his wife later disobeyed God and ate from that ...

Who Are You? What Are You Made Of?

The truth about every product is hidden in the manufacturer's manual, just like the secrets of successful people are in their stories. Many people believe in so many things as to how human beings came about, really fantastic stories. Some are of the claim that humans came from monkeys, stones, fishes,... among other things. Humans have been searching for a long time for a form of "perfect world" which we see to have in our heads but cannot be physically seen. For this, we have invented religions we call  Scientology, Islam,  Nonreligious (Secular/Agnostic/Atheist),  Hinduism,  Chinese traditional religion,  Buddhism,  Judaism,  Bahai...etc all in search for "something" which we cannot explain. The word religion originated from a Latin word which simply means to reconnect. All forms of religion are an attempt to seek and reconnect to "someone or something" we lost contact with, and so religion is necessary only when you're searching. But on...
